By using film as a means of communication, the people of Fogo Island, Newfoundland, voice some of their daily concerns. In this film, Islander Chris Cobb sings his own songs and recites his poems about the old days and the recent changes on Fogo.

Misaki is a popular bar hostess whose policy is to 'live on presents'. She is haughty and wants nothing but the most expensive and exclusive. One night, she finds a rabbit and takes it home, setting off the story of an unimaginable tragedy. It is an 'animal panic horror' film with a new edge presenting an allegory of the worst in the modern materialistic world. This is the first full-length feature film for Yuichi Kanemaru, who has worked as assistant director to Kaneto Shindo, Yasuo Furuhata and Takashi Miike. And Tomoko Tabata's dynamic performance in her first horror movie is a definite highlight.

בעזרת ההומור המטרף שלה משחזרת חבורת המונטי פיית`ון את האירועים סביב הכיבוש הרומאי של יהודה, שנים ספורות לפני הספירה הנוצרית. בריאן נולד בשנת 33 לפנה"ס, במרחק אורוות ספורות ממקום הולדות של ישו הנוצרי וחייו הוחתמו בעל כורחו בחותם המשיחיות. בריאן נקלע בין החזיתות השונות לשחרור יהודה, נחשב למשיח למרות כל מחאותיו, ונרדף ע"י הרומאים. בנוסף לפרודיה על האפוסים ההיסטוריים יש כאן גם הצהרה על הטירוף והאיוולת של המין האנושי.
