Filmed at the Congress Theater, Chicago for the US TV series Soundstage and originally broadcast in U.S. in July 2009, the show sees Billy Idol, with trademark sneer and peroxide hair very much to the fore, reunited with guitarist Steve Stevens, who played on (& sometimes co-wrote) all his 1980s hits. The tracklist runs from early Generation X favorites, through his classic solo singles and up to tracks from his most recent album, "The Devil’s Playground."

Billy Idol, recorded live at London's Wembley Arena, on December 22nd 1990, during the Charmed Life tour. Charmed Life was released in 1990, and a video for the single "Cradle of Love" had to be shot. Since he, Idol, was unable to walk, he was shot from the waist up. Against his doctors' advice, he also managed to make appearances to promote Charmed Life.

The Very Best of Billy Idol: Idolize Yourself is a greatest hits compilation album, spanning the recording career of British punk rock vocalist Billy Idol. It was released in the U. S. on 24 June 2008. This DVD set includes 13 Billy Idol music videos. Compilation omitted all videos from Cyberpunk era and all singles and videos from Devil's Playground. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Billy Idol live in concert, as broacast on German TV station WDR during the 2005 Rockpalast Rock Am Ring Festival.
