It's an ironically dark response to its title. A bug appears for less than a second, making an almost subliminal connection. In the 1920s, a Kavalan family took refuge in Hualien. 70 years later, the filmmaker, a third-generation member of the family, embarked on a self-searching journey to recover his lost identity, producing the first documentary ever made by a Pingpu descendant.
