A pair of star-crossed lovers – an undercover cop and a defense lawyer who met while pursuing a major crime lord – are put in jeopardy when one of them gets kidnapped by a corrupt element imbedded in Philadelphia’s most revered institutions.

A man is accused of murdering his wife. The state prosecutor assumes he did the deed to spend more time with his lover. But the woman in question says that his wife committed suicide in her presence and that the accused is innocent. Although hundreds of rounds are expended throughout the movie, the gun play tends to be formulaic.
