Breakfast News was a breakfast news show which first aired on BBC1 on 2 October 1989. The programme was previously known as Breakfast Time. It was planned to launch on 4 September 1989 and again on the 18 September but was held back due to technical issues with its new studio

The programme went through three main visual changes. The initial look lasted from launch in 4 September 1989 to 12 April 1993. The 13 April 1993 revamp saw the programme presented from the same set as the One, Six and Nine O'Clock News bulletins. A further and final revamp took place in June 1997 when 'BBC' was shorn from its title, and on-screen it became known as simply Breakfast News. It was during this final period that the tone began to shift, with the return of a sofa set, alongside more features, and more interaction between the presenting team.

The final edition of Breakfast News aired on 15 September 2000, and on 2 October 2000 it relaunched as BBC Breakfast.

Breakfast With Tiffany (2021)

Fredd Bear's Breakfast A-Go-Go was an award winning Australian children's television show which started in 1969 on ATV Channel 0.

Running five days a week for three years, with a mixture of cartoons, serials, music clips, news, and entertainment, it was comparable to an early Hey Hey It's Saturday.

The show was hosted by Fredd Bear, a lively non-speaking character first seen on the Magic Circle Club, and Judy Banks. Regulars included Colin McEwan, newsreader Michael McCarthy and magician Ian Buckland. Bruce Rowland was the musical director and wrote the theme tune. In 1975, Tedd Dunn won a Logie Award for Outstanding Creative Effort for his work on the program.

A membership card system was one of the methods by which the show's young audience was encouraged to stay viewing. At intervals of approximately 10–15 minutes, a viewer's membership card number would be superimposed on the screen, entitling the viewer to a prize if they contacted the station.

Since each day's show was videotaped purely for reference purposes and not archived, with the same tape reused every day, almost none of the show remains in existence. The only footage from Fredd Bear's Breakfast-A-Go-Go believed to exist is a performance by former Seekers member Bruce Woodley of his advertising jingle The ANZ Bank Travelling Man.

A one-off, fifty minute comedy sketch show special, written by and starring comedian Victoria Wood. Broadcast on Christmas Day 1992.

The show was linked by Duncan Preston and Wood as husband and wife daytime TV presenters 'Martin Cumbernauld' and 'Sally Crossthwaite'. Blatant parodies of the real husband and wife presenting team Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan.

Wood said in a radio interview around the time that she just found the idea of a married couple presenting a television show funny. She also claimed that the targets of the parody "loved it".

This was Wood's first sketch show since the phenomenally successful Victoria Wood As Seen On TV ended in 1987, and included the new 'mini-soap' "The Mall", which featured the return of Mrs. Overall and the establishment of her own branch of Acorn Antiques.

The UK distributor 2 Entertain has recently confirmed that a DVD release of this show, and that of the 1994 80-minute special "Victoria Wood: Live in Your Own Home", are being considered for 2010.

A man, whom we don't identify, kills himself with his razor because he can no longer bear the complaints of his wife, whose face we can't see well either. An impressionistic work with very close shots that cut out reality until, for example, the faces of the characters are omitted. A kind of description and brief chronicle of daily life in a house for a few minutes serves as a framework for the irruption of an unusual tragedy. Filmed without sound, it lacks any subsequent dialogue, although a piano band with a jazzy air has been added.

A man, a tower of toast bread and a package of inconspicuous contents. A film that begins with a skillful exercise and ends with a treat.

Blackmailed by dirty cops, rookie thieves Nathan and Jeff are sent to steal a briefcase from a warehouse. But what seems to be an easy mission to avoid jail, unleashes their worst nightmares from the underworld of crime.

Anri Sala created the encounter between his Albanian heritage – a snapshot of the famous Studio Marubi, which had introduced photography into the Balkans as from end of the 19TH century – and a masterpiece of French art – Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe by Édouard Manet – in an incongruous juxtaposition. We can see three women in traditional costume busying themselves around a sewing machine; the view is frontal, the pose frozen, a pure “Studio Marubi” snapshot. The insertion of a detail from Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe within this image looks like an “accidental encounter” introducing colours and nudity into a very classic photo. The characters in Déjeuner are gradually “swallowed up” by the sewing machine which soon will have finished weaving a traditional dress for the naked young woman painted by Manet, making her similar to the seamstresses. In less than a minute and in a manner apparently light even poetic, Anri Sala touches on the main themes so dear to this work.
