Living is like crossing a bridge. Is it possible that what looks like it is part of a cityscape is in fact a living being? Just like people, it is born, it lives an eventful life, it experiences its fate and its quiet forsaken aging, and then it inevitably dies. Meet Kyiv’s Rybalski Bridge and its memories.

The Germans destroyed all bridges in Warsaw during the war. The reconstruction of the Poniatowski Bridge began in July 1945. Workers from all over Poland were involved in this process. The inauguration ceremony took place on the Day of the Rebirth of Poland (the 22nd of July 1946).
