41st and Central: The Untold Story of the L.A. Black Panthers was the first part in a documentary series that follows the Southern California Chapter of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense from its glorious Black Power beginnings through to its tragic demise. The film explores the Black Panther ethos, its conflict with the L.A.P.D. and the U.S. Organization, as well as the events that shaped the complicated and often contradictory legacy of the L.A. chapter.

Five former Seattle Women Black Panthers tell their stories. This series of 5 short documentaries shares their individual stories in varied Seattle settings significant to the Seattle Black Panthers for Self Defense (SBPP), featuring an original score by SassyBlack. The Seattle chapter of the BPP was the first chapter created outside of California. The first chief of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover, labeled them as one of the three most dangerous chapters outside of Oakland. The women as “keepers of the dream” worked alongside the men in the office, implemented free community programs that still exist today like the Carolyn Downs Community Clinic and free breakfasts before disbanding nearly four decades ago.

Through archival footage and conversations with Emory we share his story, alongside the rise and fall of the Panthers. His art and what The Panthers fought for are still as relevant as ever.

Ledru is terrified when he discovers her absence as he knows McLeod will make him suffer for it, in which fear he is fully justified, as he is beaten and then shot by McLeod. Meantime, Julie, in her wanderings, runs into Father Lezare, who is journeying toward the trading station, and also David Brandt, a hunter. She appeals to them for help and upon David's assertion that he will do anything to help her, she begs him to marry her. After some hesitation on the part of both David and the priest, this is done.
