The third and final film in the award-winning box office hit RED AND WHITE trilogy set during the 1947-48 Indonesian revolution, as a band of guerrillas fights for Indonesia's freedom on land, sea and air against the Dutch empire.

The film draws on the tribulations following the Japanese Occupation and the subsequent stirrings of nationalism that arose. It marked the first time that both Chinese and Malay were portrayed on equal footing in a local production, with dialogue in both languages to depict how racial unity ensured the success of guerilla warfare in that era. The film follows the Malay protagonist, Rashid, in his work as a radio spy signaller for the allied forces in Japanese-occupied Singapore until his arrest by the Kempetai (Japanese military police) and subsequent escape and encounter with the man who betrayed him. - Government of Singapore

Freed Polish soldiers are trapped in a small town in Germany during the last days of World War II. After a doctor's daughter is raped by a concentration camp worker, the Poles allow her and her father to stay in the house that is their temporary quarters. While waiting to be repatriated, the war-weary group is forced to fight some German soldiers who invade the town. The war brings out conflicting emotions of the Poles who find themselves trapped in the house and once again under fire from the enemy.

Centers on a group of weary Middle Eastern refugees who have made their way to Turkey to apply for European visas.

In the midst of the Algerian liberation war, two characters, a meddah (traditional storyteller) and a guerrab (water distributor), having become aware of their subhuman condition in their own country, join the National Liberation Army (ALN) to fight against inhumane colonialism. They will climb the ranks to become political commissioners before falling on the field of honor, the first in a skirmish and the other in Barberousse prison (Serkadji) where he will be guillotined.

Fearing retaliation for collaborating with enemies, port owner Georg Stan fled the city. While loading oranges, the sailor Yango and the beautiful Stella are preparing for the wedding. Suddenly, Stan makes a proposal to the girl and tricks her into agreeing. Upon learning of the deception, the girl runs away to Yango.
