Date Mosui, a young samurai, one day gets a scolding from a nameless ronin that sets him thinking about what life is all about and his ways of living. His frined, Ando Kichinosuke, is alarmed at Mosui's despondency and invites him to his house as his little sister Tsuyu and he try to cheer him up.

Aiba is a gang boss who has just got out of jail, and finds everything has changed. His old gang has broken up, and only a few people still respect him. So he becomes a consultant to another gang who are about to be clobbered by a much larger gang moving in from out of town. Aiba proves a crafty tactician, and does very well at playing gangs off against each other in order to save the smaller gang. His advice is not always taken by those he tries to help, but he is generally proved right.

This film is an authentic yakuza movie that conveys the true "Matatabi" (wandering gambler) feeling.

The short documentary is about an unemployed rural middle-aged man, Shen Jianmin, who gambles for decades (he is my father) and his daily life and family relations. I shot it in my home,the Xinlian village, Wujin District, Changzhou City, from 2013 Year, to the end of 2015.
