A young female director travels solo to Tokyo, where she accidentally meets an extravagant character, 63-year-old Yamada-San, who dresses like a woman and who was never accepted by society. The two of them only communicate through the camera and arbitrary translations of strangers, who overcome the fear towards Yamada-San this way, and so begins a chain of changes.

Out of thousands of people who sought asylum in Japan, 28 people were granted refugee status in 2016. A further 97 people, though not recognized as refugees, were approved to stay in Japan on humanitarian grounds. More efforts are being made to integrate refugees into Japanese society in partnership with UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

SM Entertainment girl group aespa launched their first worldwide tour SYNK: HYPER LINE in 2023. For the Japan leg of the tour, the girls held 12 concerts including shows in Osaka, Saitama, Nagoya and Tokyo. This release features full recordings of two aespa performances at Saitama Super Arena in April and Tokyo Dome in June!

WCW/New Japan Supershow I (known as Starrcade 1991 in Tokyo Dome in Japan) took place on March 21, 1991 from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. It aired in North America in April 1991. The main event was Ric Flair defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Tatsumi Fujinami. Other matches included The Great Muta vs Sting, El Gigante vs Big Cat Hughes, Hiroshi Hase & Kensuke Sasaki defending against The Steiner Brothers for the IWGP Tag Team Championship, Arn Anderson & Barry Windham vs Masa Saito & Masahiro Chono, Jushin Liger defending the IWGP Junior Heavyweight CHampionship against Akira Nogami, and several dark matches.

On March 21, 2016 BTS announced the Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage: Epilogue tour extension along with a career landmark show at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in South Korea. The tour began on May 7, 2016 and continued through the summer in nine other cities in Taiwan, China, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines.

Marillion fan club Christmas DVD from 2018 This DVD features the band's Christmas message, and footage of the concert at the Live Music Theater Club, Citta, Kawasaki, Japan on 16 September 2018. Please note that only the first three tracks of the concert feature video footage, this show was filmed for Japanese television and these were the only tracks recorded.
