Līgatne river ferry crossing takes locals, tourists, passers-by and cars from early spring to the fall over river Gauja. It's the last of what were once many such 'rope ferries' across Gauja, but it remains more than an historical oddity and plays an important part in many lives. At just 12 square meters, the wooden ferry nevertheless encompasses an intriguing and sometimes surprising selection of what constitutes 21st-century Latvia.

This is a mystery-thriller which is about the Jr.High School faculty members in Japan who prompt action for checking student's bag in secret to prevent the student crime.

On an island the road ends where it begins, at the wharf. The wharf is the link to the rest of the world, until winter cuts it off. But the islanders know the winter sea and its movements. A close look at the legendary Magnum photographer Josef Koudelka's past, memories, his thoughts about photography, his stance on life and his emotional journey through 'Ruins', his last project, which is about the archaeological ruins of ancient cities in Mediterranean regions. Following the footsteps of Heraclitus over his quote that 'no man ever step in the same river,' Josef Koudelka revisits more than 200 Hellenistic and Roman ancient cities he photographed repeatedly over past 26 years. During this epic journey to Mediterranean regions, we witness the moments of joy, tenderness, and silence while focusing on Koudelka's both artistic and philosophical search for the 'maximum.'

The film follows the 5 athletes who competed in Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. A female ice hockey player who was adopted to the United States, a skeleton player from Ghana, an Afghanistan skier, a British snowboarder and a ski jumper who overcame a knee injury. They all step into the world of sports by going beyond their personal and human limitations. The film emphasizes their steps and trails through the images of their continuous walks. At the same time the walks are connected to the division of the hosting country, Korea. Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games has overcome the conflict that could have led to another war, leading to participation of both South and North Koreas. Beyond the convention of celebrating only the winners, the film put significance in the whole path by looking at their stories behind the participation. Just like the title, the film depicts us beyond the border.

Fu Huaicun, who was determined to become an actor, joined Jiang Qiyun's performance workshop under the introduction of actor Zhou Xu. Fu Huaixun spent an unforgettable and wonderful time in constant contact with Jiang Qiyun. At the same time, the relationship between the two continued to heat up, and together they revealed a hurried past between Fu Huaicun and Zhou Xingzhang.

This work arises from the random encounter of two titles having a tie in the 50th place on the Sight & Sound list in 2012, curiously enough, when considering a dialogue between these two films, we see how cinema can generate its own ghosts: in both films the dead and the living coexist; in La Jeteé thanks to time (insubordinate of movement) and in Ugetsu Monogatari thanks to movement (a panoramic view within a sequence shot, which refers to a deceptive narrative continuity). What would happen if we stripped both films of their construction?
