It also showed brief previews of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and TNG's second season. Also it was principally a container for the premiere of a full color print of "The Cage" which had, according to the special, recently been recovered from Paramount's studio archives.

He soon discovers other ships from other times have also been brought to that region of space and each with only 1 crew member left aboard.

Produced by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (lead writer, Mark Bourne), the exhibit was originally developed to coincide with both the 25th anniversary and the 1992 International Space Year, before becoming a touring exhibition and undertaking an extensive North American tour in September of that year.
