Me & Max was a situation comedy produced for Canadian television station CHCH-TV in 1985.

Evolving out of the sketch comedy series Smith & Smith, Me & Max starred husband-and-wife comedy team Steve Smith and Morag Smith, and their kids Max and David. All four members of the Smith family played fictionalized versions of themselves, and Steve and Morag also played other characters, such as the neighbours and the boys' uncle Red Green, through split-screen photography.

The series lasted for 26 episodes, at which time Steve and Morag Smith went on to produce another sketch comedy series, The Comedy Mill. Following the end of that show's run, Steve Smith developed another series, The Red Green Show. The character of Red Green had appeared in all of the Smiths' previous shows, including Me & Max.

Get Smart is an American comedy television series that satirizes the secret agent genre. Created by Mel Brooks with Buck Henry, the show stars Don Adams, Barbara Feldon, and Edward Platt. Henry said they created the show by request of Daniel Melnick, who was a partner, along with Leonard Stern and David Susskind, of the show's production company, Talent Associates, to capitalize on "the two biggest things in the entertainment world today"—James Bond and Inspector Clouseau. Brooks said: "It's an insane combination of James Bond and Mel Brooks comedy." This is the only Mel Brooks production to feature a laugh track.

The success of the show eventually spawned the follow-up films The Nude Bomb and Get Smart, Again!, as well as a 1995 revival series and a 2008 film remake. In 2010, TV Guide ranked Get Smart's opening title sequence at No. 2 on its list of TV's Top 10 Credits Sequences, as selected by readers.

Max & Tux is an Italian television series.

Uncle Max is a British children's comedy television series originally airing on CITV, and now CBBC. It features David Schneider as the title character, Uncle Max, and William Howe as Luke, Max's nine year-old nephew, although in the second series Jonathon Hanly took over from William. The show is very similar in style to Mr. Bean, with the basic premise being that Uncle Max is incapable of embarking on any adventure without upsetting another individual or group of individuals in some shape or form.

The first series was filmed in Johannesburg in South Africa and produced by Andy Rowley over a seven-week block in the summer of 2005, the show was written by David Schneider and 13 episodes were made for CITV and screened on the CITV channel in 2006. The second series was filmed in Galway, in Ireland.

Schneider admitted in an interview for The Times that parts of the series are references to Laurel and Hardy; the majority of the footage is a tribute to the cartoons which Schneider grew up with, cartoons such as Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo and Wacky Races. Scheider also stated that the name of the Uncle is descended from his own uncle, Max Ward, who was born in Hastings but now lives in Hackney, London. Of his own Uncle Max, Schneider says that he used to get into all sorts of scrapes and adventures and would take the young David along for the ride.

Blue Max (1997) shows a woman looking out of a window, but also working with extreme close-ups: The street, her neck, the window, her knees, the floor and her toes, brought together by the sound of a passing train. Her ears, her mouth, the wall and the door. The sparkling glass of a window and the young woman on top of a naked young man and later the shadows on the wall of both of them. A telephone is ringing and the clouds in the blue sky are travelling by while it all turns into a rape. And the calmness of both of them is quite irritating when they later watch TV together. Max calls next day. Her father is in the enamel bath and geyser line. Max is making love; a customer enters. Girlie hides Max in portable shower bath. Enter father, who is a good salesman. He turns on the shower - and Max. What a delightful comedian Linder is." (The Bioscope, Nov. 22, 1917)

Fourteenth instillation in this violent action series about a delinquent youth. A straight-shooting ruffian lets his anger loose at the vileness of a young loan shark. Directed by Motoki Takashi, who has handled numerous films in the series. Hayato (Kubota Masataka), who has earned respect for his fighting prowess at a sketchy modeling agency, starts working as bodyguard for the charismatic delinquent-style model Reo (Arai Atsushi). But, Reo has a dark side of running a loan shark operation, and brutally calls in loans by making female debtors sell their bodies.

Max attempts to take a photo of a woman in a bathing suit, waiting while she swims around. He's waiting for her to emerge so he can snap the photo, but she fools him by diving beneath the sea and running ashore some distance away so he doesn't see her. He then goes to great lengths to rescue her from the deep while she hides and laughs.

This is the story of Max, the director's own story, playfully animated within the realms of documentary. Max's story goes back several generations to sailors, industrialists and Summer of Love hippies, all of whom are depicted with whole-hearted love and equal amounts of irony.

The extremely ludicrous adventures of an intoxicated man aboard a yacht.

To reassure his fans, Max Linder has been filming with his family at his place of convalescence...

The story is about Max who in holiday in Switzerland meets two young American girls. They're friends, the first one is blond, the other one is brunette. He falls in love with the two of them and decide to declare his flame first to the brunette then to the blond. When they realize the game Max is playing, they decide to play also. It is a delicate comedy between the three characters realized all in outsides (certainly around the Leman's lake)with a very good direction and very pretty images. The two unknown actress are also very charming. One of the best of Max Linder.
