Takanori Gomi won the Lightweight tournament by knocking out Hayato Sakurai. Dan Henderson won the Welterweight tournament by defeating Murilo Bustamante via split decision. Wanderlei Silva retained his Middleweight Champion title by defeating Ricardo Arona via split decision.
