While the story of mass internment of Japanese Americans in California, Oregon and Washington has been well documented, very little is known about the Hawaii internees and the confinement sites located in Hawaii. This is the first full length documentary to chronicle this untold story in Hawaii's history.

Many Native American peoples share a belief that they emerged from the Earth. The Hopi, the westernmost group of Pueblo Indians, is one of these peoples. The Hopi origin story has it that Hopis used to live beneath the earth. When it came time to emerge into the world, that Hopi met Maasaw, Caretaker and Creator of the Earth, and promised him they would help take care of the world as a trade-off for staying. The sacred story of Hopi origins includes a covenant that Hopi peoples will be stewards of the earth. After making this promise, Pueblo Indians began a sacred quest, under Maasaw’s order, to find "center spaces" and settle, and populations marked their settlements with spiral insignia as they found them.

In the cold winter of 1860, a young mother trapped in slavery seizes the opportunity to escape with her family when she encounters HARRIET TUBMAN (Karen Abercrombie, War Room). Harriet leads the young family through a number of trials on the Underground Railroad, causing them all to question whether or not freedom is worth the price they must pay to obtain it.

In 2012, the first Black U.S. Marines were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. Only one-tenth of the men have since received it. Now there is a mission to get all Montford Point Marines their medals while immortalizing their part of U.S. history.
