Weekends with Maury and Connie was an MSNBC television news series featuring light-hearted take on news of the week.

It was hosted by talk show host Maury Povich and his wife, television news anchor Connie Chung. Beginning in early 2006, it appeared every weekend morning on MSNBC until Dan Abrams was appointed the new General Manager of MSNBC. Due to the show's low ratings, near the bottom of the charts, Abrams canceled the show. The last broadcast aired June 17, 2006.

On the final episode, Chung, dressed in a white evening gown and writhing atop a black piano, sang a parody to the tune of "Thanks for the Memory". Video clips of the bizarre, off-key farewell performance circulated on internet video sites like YouTube, ironically viewed by more people than viewed Weekends with Maury and Connie during its run.

Connie Chung Tonight is an American television newsmagazine hosted by Connie Chung. The hour-long series premiered on CNN on June 24, 2002. At first the show was live, then previously taped in a move the network hoped would improve the program's flow.

Although it achieved moderate audience ratings, Chung's show was suspended with the start of the 2003 Iraq War, and Chung's role shifting to reading news headlines. When CNN generally resumed regular programming, they did not bring Connie Chung Tonight back to air. The program was canceled in March 2003, and Chung did not return to air on the network, despite still being under contract with CNN.

This 40-minute experimental documentary will explore the life of Elizabeth Eaton 'Connie' Converse. After being commercially ignored as a singer/songwriter, Connie disappeared in 1974 at the age of 50, leaving only goodbye notes and a filing cabinet full of her extraordinary life's work. Her deeply personal songs were ahead of their time. Faced with major surgery and a crippling sense of failure, Connie Converse drove off in her Volkswagen bug and was never heard from again. 'We Lived Alone' uses an archive of recordings, photos, interviews, and symbolic footage to investigate the life of Connie Converse through the lens of her own music.
