At the age of five, she began to study music. Graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov and her graduate school (class of Anna Makarova). She studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (class of Jana Bošková). Since the 2008–2009 season she has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, since 2011 she has been a concertmaster of the harp group. Laureate of the International Harp Competition named after. Felix Godfroy (Namur, Belgium; 1st prize and special prize "Silver Rooster"), International Harp Competition. Lily Laskin (Deauville, France; 2nd prize), Franz Josef Reinl Foundation Harp Competition (Munich; 1st prize), St. Petersburg International Music Competition. Empress Elizaveta Petrovna "Golden Harp" (I prize and special prize for the best performance of Tchaikovsky's works), the International Harp Competition named after. Martin Geliot (Paris; 1st prize and special prize of the jury chairman - composer Jacques Charpentier) and many other musical competitions. After winning the competition Martin Gelio Sophia Kiprskaya recorded a solo CD Recital in Paris. Laureate of the “Constellation of Talents” competition and holder of the “Star of Academician D.S. Laureate of the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation for young cultural figures for 2021. Sofia Kiprskaya took part in the European Harp Congress in Lyon and Cardiff, represented Russia at the International Harp Congress in Amsterdam and Sydney. She performed with solo programs at the festivals Virtuosos of the Planet, Stars of the White Nights, Musical Olympus, Crescendo, Stars on Baikal, Palaces of St. Petersburg, Musical Expedition, festivals in Mikkeli (Finland) and Santander (Spain), International Harp Festival (Soka, Japan), Forte Music Fest (Almaty). She gave concerts in the largest halls in Japan, Australia, France, Serbia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, the USA, including New York's Carnegie Hall, the Fontainebleau Hall, the Prague Rudolfinum Hall, the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Great and Small Halls St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Big and Small Halls of the Moscow Conservatory. Collaborated with the Grand Symphony Orchestra. P. I.
