Biography

Spencer Stevenson is a rising actor who will soon be seen in 20th Century Studios highly anticipated film "Rosaline." Spencer stars as 'Paris,' alongside a star-studded cast including Kaitlyn Dever and Minnie Driver, in the comedic retelling of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" that is told from the point of view of Romeo's jilted ex, Rosaline. Stevenson's additional film credits include 'Quinn' in "Rollers" and 'Paul' in "Never Goin' Back, opposite Maia Mitchell, which was accepted into the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. He can also be seen on the small screen in "The Purge," "Mindhunter," "Solve" and "One Mississippi."

Born in Irving, TX and raised in Grand Prairie, Spencer Stevenson got an early start entertaining audiences-participating in his elementary school talent show at the age of 8 and landing his first role in a musical stage production at the age of 9. He then joined the competitive theatre team at his middle school and discovered he wanted to pursue his passion outside of the school setting. Shortly thereafter, he began training at DTV Studios for Acting in Film/TV, where he still studies today.

Stevenson signed with his first theatrical agent before beginning at South Grand Prairie High School and began booking roles in TV commercials and PSA's. In addition to training at DTV and auditioning, Spencer continued to develop his craft a part of the Varsity Speech and Debate Theatre Team at his high school. Knowing he wanted to pursue acting as a career, Spencer began exploring paths to make his dreams come true-including auditioning for Texas State University's prestigious BFA Acting program at the suggestion of a friend. Stevenson was accepted and he graduated in the spring of 2019.
