Biography

Neal is half Scottish and half Ghanaian and discovered his love for photography at age 18.  After reading Law and working as a solicitor in London, he left his career behind, returning to Glasgow to dedicate his life full-time to art.

He considers himself to be a creative person and doesn’t like defining himself as an artist. Though he plays the violin, reviews films and is writing a book, his first love is photography.

He mainly uses digital, but is fascinated by the analog format. In 23 years, he has concentrated on bringing out the personality of his subjects: For Neal, the history behind each photograph is fundamental and he strives to search out common details in people of different cultures.
