Lana definitely isn't as impactful as Lorde and this is from someone that prefers her to Lorde, no Lana album thus far had the same acclaim and awards recognition as Melodrama(that i didn't even like as much as everyone else).

I can see why someone can say Lana is more sucessful than Lorde(given the endless chart slayage of Born to Die and how Lana's non mainstream album Ultraviolence sold considerably well compared to other non mainstream albums), but Florence? She has much less appeal than the other 2 and her songs ain't much appreciated all around the world, the US tends to reject her a lot.

Overall Lana has had more commercial success than Lorde and has more recognizable songs while of course not able to get the same acclaim Lorde got for Melodrama - but then again nobody is saying that Lorde has not been impactful.

Florence has sold more albums than Lorde and has had more consistent presence on the charts.

Sucess: Lorde, but the fact that Lana's last album which she didn't promote at ALL sold the same amount as Lorde's album is very telling.

On Lana's album selling as much as Lorde: That's because Lorde depends on the GP, she doesn't have a built in fanbase like Lana.
