She became famous after placing 2nd at the 2004 Dewi Remaja Model Search. She then joined Miss Malaysia Universe 2004 and placed First Runner-up and also won the Miss Love & Lace Photogenic and Miss Health and Beauty titles behind Andrea Fonseka who won the titles.
