Biography

Paul Greatz was a German-born French film producer, owner of the production company Transcontinental Films. He was of Jewish origin and left Germany for France when the Nazis took over in 1933. When the Germans invaded France in 1940, he temporarily relocated to the USA, but returned back to France directly after the war. 

He is internationally most known for the film "Is Paris Burning?", which was under production when he died.
