Martin Mystery has a passion for all things paranormal. When he's not at school, this teenage lover of supernatural ooze works undercover for a secret bureau specialising in mysterious phenomena. Together with his older stepsister Diana, Java (a massive caveman lost in time) and Billy (a small green hovering creature), he checks out weird wonders. In 1967, French TV broadcast a dramatised adaptation of the series, Les Aventures de Michel Vaillant. 13 episodes in total, it featured stories written and filmed around the real life World Sportscar Championship, documenting Henri Grandsire driving an Alpine 110, interspersed with dramatic interludes acted by Grandsire himself. Episodes offer close up rare contemporary footage of races and cars that year at the Rallye Du Nord, Magny Cours, Nürburgring, Monza, Targa Florio, Le Mans, Monaco, Rouen-Les-Essarts, Sebring and Reims.

It is a Futurikon - Tooncan - M6 Métropole Télévision - Canal J co-production and distributed by M6 Métropole Télévision. The theme song is an original song composed for the TV series by Deep Forest. It was first aired in France during 1999; and later aired in the UK, Canada, Spain and on SABC1 in South Africa.

Kassai and Leuk is a children's television series by Marathon Media Group. This short-lived animation series was based on African stories. The three protagonists are the young man Kassai, his sidekick Leuk, a talking humanoid hare who knows the jungle well, and Princess Marana, who is cursed to transform into a gazelle during the day. In the series, Kassai goes on various quests to find the scattered parts of his tribe's patron goddess, Koorie, and tries to stop the plans of the evil god Toguum, who can possess people to do his bidding. The opening theme "Samba Et Leuk" is performed by the African musician Ismaël Lô.
