Haru is trying to live up to the ideals that Mako, who used to admire Haru, has portrayed to him in the past, by telling a series of small lies. As he meets Mako, Haru's feelings change, but how will this lie-laced love develop?

While in India, she meets a fellow backpacker, Shingo. Teruko first regards Shingo as a frivolous person but as his encouraging words clear her hesitation and touches her, she falls in love with him.

It's the good, old, cliched battle of good-versus-evil on a mainly human scale as Prof. Amano settles a lifelong grudge match against his former colleague Dr. Jango, while Fighbird squares off with Draias and his men.

Jushin Liger is an anime superhero TV series created by Go Nagai. Produced by Sunrise Inc. with cooperation of Dynamic Planning, the series was originally broadcast on Nagoya Broadcasting Network /TV Asahi from March 11, 1989 to January 27, 1990 with a total of 43 episodes.

A manga series, written and drawn by Go Nagai, was also released alongside the anime, originally published by Kodansha in the magazine Comic Bom Bom from March 1989 to January 1990.
