Ros na Rún is a long-running Irish soap opera produced for the Irish language television channel, TG4. It was originally broadcast on RTÉ One in the early 1990s before the existence of TG4. The programme is set in a fictional village called Ros Na Rún, located outside Galway, and near Spiddal, and centres around the domestic and professional lives of its residents. It is modelled on an average village in the West of Ireland but with its own distinct personality – diverse population that share secrets, romances, friendships etc. While the core community has remained the same, the look and feel of Ros Na Rún has changed and evolved over the years to incorporate the changing face of rural Ireland. Cúltír (Hinterland) is a six-part celebration of county by county identity. Renowned singer Pauline Scanlon and top violinist Aoife Ní Bhriain gather the cream of a county's traditional and folk music talent to perform for one night only in front of a local audience. Cúltír opens in Cork taking in Kilkenny, Fingal, Tipperary, Roscommon before finishing out the series in Westmeath. Geantraí (translated: Lively Music), an evergreen traditional music series, is one of TG4’s most popular and has been a staple in the programme schedule since the channel first came on air. It conveys the unique atmosphere of a pub session and programmes feature the best of regional traditional music from around the country. The series, presented by a different musician each week, is produced in genuine traditional music pubs and many of our best known musicians are featured. It is also a platform for the young or indeed the mature musician who may be performing on television for the first time.

Seacht was a college drama series following the lives of seven college students at the Arts Department of Queen's University in Belfast.

The drama was broadcast on Irish language state broadcaster TG4 and BBC Two Northern Ireland. The show attracted an audience of around 40,000. It aired on Mondays 22:55 on TG4, repeated Saturdays at 22:05, and on BBC Two NI on Tuesdays at 22:00.
