Discuss Candyman

This one is up there among the scariest movies I've ever watched, back when I subjected myself to horror movies on a more regular basis. And I'm impressed this was made on a $6M budget. While revenues of $25M are not remarkable, quadrupling the investment isn't the worst ROI in the world.

And no, I will not say his name three times while looking into a mirror. Nope, not doing it, don't ask me to.

I'll always remember how creepy the Candyman's voice sounded in the theaters. It gave me the shivers. It was never the same watching it on video simply because that voice wasn't as powerful as it was on the big screen. However it's still a very good film and one of the better horror movies from the 90s.

Wow, I thought the voice was scary just at home! Must have been something in the cinema.

Its a treat. I like urban legend approach to it and the rich mythology they set up for it.
