Discuss Hack-O-Lantern

Item: Halloween Night

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: We need a definitive title for this, as it keeps changing back and forth and it is too confusing for users, both here and on Letterboxd. The restored blu-ray (and most sources) refer to it as "Hack-o-Lantern" and the VHS version that went by "Halloween Night" clearly had the title flown in over the original "Hack-o-Lantern" title card. Is there an official title for this?

I locked the current title to stop the annoying back and forth. However, we need accurate info to know which title is the original title.

Is the UK release truly the very first release (distributor? title?). When and how was the film first released in the US?

I've finally acquired the blu-ray, which has several featurettes and a commentary from producer Raj Mehrotra. I'll see what information I can glean from it.
