Discuss Lethal Weapon 4

This is the saving grace of this film, IMO. A good send off for the characters as the final Lethal Weapon, but the fight scene with Jet Li in his prime is really entertaining.

Agreed. The Jet Li and Riggs and Murtagh fight was good and brutal -- an execution of both street and martial arts fighting, I believe.

I love the finale to Lethal Weapon 4. For me the LW franchise was one of the few consistent franchises out there. 1/ all the movies are great or good. 2/ the cast remain intact throughout (glovers family, the captain etc) 3/ glover's family house remains the same house (so many movies change little things like this) 4/ it has a beginning middle and end. There's progress with Gibson and Glover. 5/ the ending is beautiful. I tear up after the photo is taken and the song 'why can't we be friends' and you're shown behind the scenes set photos of all four movies

True- Riggs' character has (possibly extensive) military training and was proven a good fighter, even against others with as much training (first LW flick), but Murtagh is all brute strength and attacking straight/head-on in a fight with street fighting. Jet Li's martial arts fighting skills were showcased perfectly in the film (many people saying he was the 'next Bruce Lee' at the time) and showed a great battle not just of age for the two protagonists but totally different fighting skills against each other. And of course, them working together to defeat the much more skilled fighter that would've killed either in 1 on 1 was cool to see!
