Discuss The Sting

How is this movie not firmly planted in the 80 percentile? Must have a lot of trolls here that down rate movies simply because they are popular.

Agree! One of my most favourite movies. Great story line and terrific twist at the end for those who haven't seen it.

Great film! Never gets old!

A great film with two great actors! :)

It remains the only US made film I've given a perfect 10/10 for. I watched it for the first time about 20 years ago and can still remember grinning through it and thinking 'so this is how you can tell a story via film'.

It built on the promising base of Butch Cassidy... (7/10) and just nailed everything.

It seems it has inched its way into the 80% since I first posted the OP. You gotta love a film that has you rootin' for the crooks. That, in and of itself, was something of a novelty back then. Besides the two big leads, it has a great supporting cast recognizable in many other TV roles and films.

The Sting (1973) - 8 outta 10 stars

This is a great film,no matter what people say.
