Overblik

Steven (Jim Carrey) er en velfungerende mand med kone og barn. Men efter en bilulykke får han pludselig en helt ny livsindstilling, og beslutter sig for at flytte til Miami og leve livet. Det koster et overtræk på kontoen og en tur i spjældet. Her møder han Phillip (Ewan McGregor) og forelsker sig. Carrey springer ud i en overraskende rolle som forelsket storsvindler, der konstant er på kant med loven og udtænker utrolige fupnumre for at skaffe (sig) penge.
