I recently rewatched this movie. It's one of the few films I've seen twice. This movie really doesn't miss a beat.

I have to say this is my favorite movie about wartime "heroes". Although, I use the word hero with great reservation as the characters are constantly doubting themselves.

The moral ambiguity and constant self-doubt in the film is really presented in an exceptional way.
