Discuss Singin' in the Rain

I have actually told someone this before: "There is nothing between us. Just air."

I can't believe they let Lina say, "I can't make love to a bush!" It sounds like something that could have been pulled from the decency committee.

And dignity. Always dignity.

If you don't feel happy, and have a smile on your face, after watching this film - I feel sorry for you. What an absolute joy it is. The whole singing, dancing, romancing bit!

Love the way she said that..

Maureen, are you a fan of old movies? I have seen you here and the Gone with the Wind site too. I used to loooooove old movies. Gene Kelly = my ideal man. Of course, not when he was acting like a tyrant.

Love old movies. Especially the musicals. Boy, Hollywood knew how to turn on the glamour in those days. Ok, so they were a bit cheesy, but you could sit back and forget your kitchen sink existence for a while. Heaven.

I make more money than Herbert Hoover... Put together!
