Discuss Terminator Genisys

Why do they have to reboot the Terminator franchise? And it sucks that Arnold Schwarzenegger won't even be part of the reboot apparently.

There's just too much technology in the Terminator franchise.

I'd like to see a non reboot sequel were Skynet accepts that no matter how much more advanced a Terminator they send back it's always going to be doomed to failure and realise that the answer lies in sending a simpler wooden clockwork Terminator EVEN FURTHER back in time to kill John Conner's great great great great grandfather back in the old country, i.e. 19th Century Bavaria.

Well it would still be a reboot there's no such thing as a "non reboot sequel" what you're suggesting is still a reboot.
