I was hoping this would be a "so bad it's good" woke disaster, but it wasn't even interesting enough for that. In fact, it's a pretty meh gay teen drama that kinda reminded me of But I'm A Cheerleader, but with more of a Lifetime Channel movie vibe and without the fun.

But the most egregious thing is that it's not horror. People die in it, but the deaths could almost be cut out of it and the movie would still make sense (save for the last few scenes). No one the movie wants us to care about dies, because how could they? If they killed any innocent gay people off it would be ripped apart on social media for promoting hatred towards gay people so it's all very toothless with a long 40 minute stretch of just nothing really going on.

When straight people have sex in a horror movie they die, I guess gay sex doesn't count because it's phobic, like in Halloween Kills. Either way it was not a good horror movie and a meh drama. Would not recommend. Will forget it in an hour.
