There are trailers with Russian name of Avengers Infinity War, but this doesn't make it Russian movie)
And IMDb is not a good source for Russian movies.

This movie was shot in Russia by "Тундра Фильм" with help of Cinema Foundation of Russia. Director is Russian. There are Russian and Ukrainian actors.
This is a Wiki page of this movie (but there is not a French page).
It says: "Российский фильм 2011 года, драма. (A Russian movie of 2011 year, drama)"

This movie has been in different foreign festivals and was not popular in Russia, but was more popular in France. Maybe that's why in foreign movie resources it has a French name.

This movie has participated in different Russian festivals in categories where can participate only Russia movies or coproductions of Russia with different countries.
And it has been in Russian Film Week NYC 2011.

My problem is that producers sometimes prefer to give an official title in another language.
Maybe because of market problems.
I have already found some cases like this in TMDb. Usually from Hong Kong.
So what I would like to know is if in this movie the producers decided to assign a title in another language. Only that.

I think, that it is a different situation. This movie has the name Сибирь. Монамур in all main Russian movie resources. If producers had some problems with that, they would ask to change the name. And I think, that Sibir. Monamur name came from IMDb, but with Russian movies there is a more reliable resource - https://www.kinopoisk.ru/film/573200/ (they put an original name for movies if movies have them)
