Let me just preface this by saying it is one of those dreaded movies where that big N logo pops up in the beginning to warn you that you are about to watch a modern masterpiece of cinema. To start off what is with Anthony Mackie's Roboman apparently having a 0% accuracy with an AR and 100% accuracy with his pistol. To continue on random silliness the scene where he (Mackie) is fighting the terrorists and their robots he tosses a grenade at one of the robots at close range and does a backwards swan dive in slow motion and shoots the grenade midair. You can't help but wonder what was the point of shooting the thing after throwing it. I suppose the director thought it looked cool or something, but it is just idiotic. Then we have the nonchalant sidekick who has no reservations about standing in the middle of the street in front of the bank where the terrorists are after at least two snipers had already taken shots at them earlier in the movie. This street and combat savvy is again put into good use when the terrorists burst out of the bank holding hostages and our sidekick is at least now hiding behind some kind of cover, but immediately stands up from behind the cover holding his weapon up in the air. Now I can't help but to wonder why the terrorists didn't just immediately shoot him, but I guess it would have too much sense. Instead they choose to wait until US robots enter the scene and then start shooting at everything wildly.

I almost want to watch this now just so I can slag on it with some authority. Most if not all stupidity with regard to stuff not making sense can be attributed to the director, and I'm sick to death of action heroes exhibiting any kind of accuracy in anything while flying through the air. I can tale suspension of disbelief only so far.

It's garbage....garbage I tells ya! There's nothing to really see here. A crappy movie with a very mediocre plot and the two leads are rather unlikeable and based on this movie I don't think Anthony Mackie can carry a movie on his own. I wasn't exactly surprised to see Mackies name in the producers when the movie finally ended. The other lead is even worse and is really whiny through the whole film and that gets old really fast. Anyways I might as well mention what is probably the dumbest scene in the movie and they saved it for the end: Here's a real shocker for everyone Mackie's robot is evil! Yeah, there's no way anyone could see this brilliant and completely original twist coming. This evil robot goes to some russian missile silo and prepares to launch four nuclear warheads to the US and we see the stereotypical clock with five minutes counting down. Luckily our whiny hero shows up and blows him away with some incendiary rounds or something while we are told that a drone is ready to blow the nuclear silo away. So what does the whiner do when a nuclear warhead/missile is right in front of him and is about to go off in five minutes and/or a drone is about to blow the place to kingdom come. Well, of course he stays there and debates the matter of humanity with Anthony Mackie's robot while we see the clock counting down. Oh, now it's four minutes, well, maybe he will now get out. Nope. Plenty of time to keep talking. Three minutes now. Sheet, this is kind of tight if you ask me surely he will now get out since it took him several minutes to get in the facility. Nah, what's the rush. Two minutes. Golly I'm biting my nails here! There's no chance he won't get out now. No deal. One minute remaining! Nah, still time to talk with the dying robot. 50 seconds - ok now it's time to run. Well, good thing the dying robot got to hear some words of wisdom about humanity. I'm sure they did him lots of good in his last 50 seconds of being in operation.
