Haven't watched this in a while but from what I remember survival seems very unlikely. !!

It was left to your imagination.

He finds the will to live after having given up on life... He fights to his death...

Have you read Camus? The Stranger has similar themes...

Was there an end frame of him lying immobile on the wolf? Anyway, whether he is found in time or not to survive is almost irrelevant...

He lives. There was a brief scene at the end of the credits that showed a wolf laying in the snow breathing its last few breaths.

No, it's not clear who, if either won. We see his head resting on the still breathing wolf, but it's not clear if they are both dying, if he is dead and the wolf survived, or is also dying, or if they're both alive. It's entirely subjective.
