Ken Foree in Dawn of the Dead (1978)? There were several from the 80s and earlier 90s as well.

Hmm..didn't Kelly Jo Minter from "Nightmare on Elm Street 5" survive? It's been a long time since I've seen it but I'm pretty sure she does, unless I'm forgetting a twist at the end or something.
