片长88分钟（TV版13集）。这一作的剪辑水平很差劲，远不如后来的《战旗特别版》，许多重要细节都被删掉了，根本就没有达到“精简”的目的，而且《纹章》作为《星界》系列篇幅最长的一部作品，88分钟的长度未免太短，有点走马观花的成分。不过片中也新加进了几个有趣的情节，比如片尾讨论怎样处理拉菲尔的染发问题，这段内容是TV版没有的。

Brzy je poslán studovat jazyk a kulturu Abh a připravit se na budoucnost šlechtice - budoucnost, o které nikdy nesnil, nežádal o ni, a dokonce ani nechtěl. Nyní Jinto vstupuje do další fáze svého výcviku a chystá se setkat s první Abhkou svého života, půvabnou Lafiel. Linn Jinto's life changes forever when the Humankind Empire Abh takes over his home planet of Martine without firing a single shot. He is soon sent off to study the Abh language and culture and to prepare himself for his future as a nobleman — a future he never dreamed of, asked for, or even wanted. Now, Jinto is entering the next phase of his training, and he is about to meet the first Abh in his life, the lovely Lafiel.
