Overview

It's 1848 and the invading army has defeated the few opposing forces and California has become part of the United States. As the anger from the citizens rages, even more as gold is discovered in its already rich lands. Don Cesar de Echagüe, an old hidalgo, begs his son Cesar to accelerate his return from Europe, confident that he knows how to oppose the oppressor. But what he sees coming is a cockroach incapable of any act of value. But this is only a ruse to hide his other personality, "The Coyote" relentless defender of his compatriots!
