Discuss The Father

This movie does not show up (for me) when searching "the father y:2020". I could only find it once I tried to create an new entry and the system showed me a duplicate entry. It also does not show up as an option when trying to add it to my infuse pro. Anyone else having problems with this?

Hi, r0ck.

It should show up fine for you (and everyone) now; someone had accidentally set this movie to Adult: Yes (which rendered it erroneously identified as porn) - which I've corrected (and locked) to Adult: No.

Thanks for bringing the matter to our attention.

thanks so much for fixing this!

You're very welcome.

I think they meant that they couldn't find it when using the year. The first link is what comes up when I add the year, the second & third are the results when I just type in The Father. I have always been annoyed by that, not sure why the system does that (doesn't make sense).

When a movie is set to Adult: Yes (which is how it had been set), a film becomes invisible (thus unlisted) to anyone who doesn't have their TMDb account's setting set to allow porn content to appear. That's why it wasn't appearing for r0ck.

Btw, brat (and you may already know this), when searching specifying a known release year, type in the year using the format "y:1939" [whatever year is correct], all run together like that.

Example: the godfather y:1972

Here's the search result.

That's a handy tip for (in particular) if a title may apply to several different films or t.v. series from throughout the course of many years.

That's even more annoying. Why would Travis do that? At most sites, you type in the name, then the year (The Godfather 1972) & they take you right to it!
