Anyone else get Fallout 4 vibes from this?

There were a lot of similarities, and since Lisa Joy is also working on the Fallout series for Amazon, I wouldn't be surprised if she had played Fallout before she wrote it. It sure made me reminisce about it.

I mean [Spoilers] it's about a guy who uses a memory machine to probe a thug's mind who had killed his significant other in order to find a kidnapped child, which is a major plot point in the main quest line of the Fallout 4 protagonist.

I agree that there are similarities. That doesn't surprise me, because the director and writer of "Reminiscence (2021)", Lisa Joy - who is also involved in "Westworld (2016-)" - is an executive producer of the upcoming television series "Fall Out", that is - you guessed it - an adaptation of the RPG of the same title.
If the latter is successful, there might even be a crossover between that and "Westworld".

I honestly would like to see more about the futuristic Miami, but it was a good movie...

Good movie, where the fallout of our world is just ordinary. Jackman is good, as always.
