If you watch Goodfellas and then THIS, isn't it obvious this is just a sh!tty copy of Goodfellas?

same director, same actors, but completely different movies. First off, Goodfellas is by far the better movie. Casino is too long and choppy. Not Scorcese's best work. But overall, the movie portrayed Lefty Rosenthal and Anthony Spilotro and the Vegas Skim pretty accurately.

Sharon Stone is remarkably irritating and even downright unpleasant in this. She pulled the movie down, in my book.

I know Goodfellas is a better movie, that's what I said.

As for Casino being a "completely different movie," it may be a different story, but it's not a different movie:

  • Gangsters, check.
  • Wall to wall narration, check.
  • Running a crooked business, check.
  • Subplot featuring fiery wife of gangster, check.
  • Rogue gangster who goes against status quo.
  • Gangsters whacking people & burying them, check.
