Why didn't they show Kimberly talking to Byron about her being his mother after it came out that she was his real mother? It just jumped to the Maury scene.

What was there really to talk about? Byron knew Kimberly as his sister, not his mother. For the most part, Byron finding out Kimberly was his mother changed nothing.
