Discuss Jurassic World Dominion

I always loved since as a child the Jurassic Park movies!

The only one I disliked, in fact I really hated, was the horrendous Jurassic Park 3!

This new Jurassic World has the potential to be a legendary movie! Let's hope so!

Eh, we'll see. I've been able to enjoy Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom, but both had serious problems. Trevorrow really needs to be kept away from script writing on this series. His stories are alright, but his actual scripts are irritatingly sloppy.

I actually loved both movies despite of being really different in mood and atmosphere.

I can appreciate aspects of the new films, but I honestly cannot enjoy them the same way.

They are genuinely different in many aspects. They feel more like the 2010s.

The 2010's gave us much better writing and characters. Well, except for Abram's work.

In which movies?

And I really like JJ Abrams.

You mean which films had better writing? Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Rango, Tron Legacy, Lockout, In Time, Oblivion, and others.

J.J. Abrams is the bane of science fiction. He, and his cohorts, have single handedly ruined almost every major science fiction franchise out there. The ONLY one who has escaped that trend has been Matt Reeves.

I honestly don't agree regarding JJ Abrams. I really like his movies in general. In fact, he's responsible for the amazing new Star Trek movies. And I loved his work with Star Wars in general.

Yeah, we're not going to agree, here. His first "Star Trek" was okay at best. "Into Darkness" was one of the stupidest Sci-Fi films I have seen in a while, "The Force Awakens" was insultingly stupid, as was "The Rise of Skywalker". I've seen a lot of bad films, but TFA STILL makes me angry, and I saw it ast a time when I genuinely didn't care about "Star Wars" anymore.

I totally disagree.

The first Star Trek is awesome. Into Darkness was pretty good as well.

The Force Awakens is extremely good. The Rise of Skywalker was very entertaining.
