Agreed. I enjoyed it but it was lacking. I thought the visuals werent that bad and I liked the world they built. Even if I think it wasnt enough time spent on the world building. You can tell they had a low budget for this one and tried to stretch it. A few things that bothered was the lack of character development. Didnt really feel like a gut punch when his wife was killed. In fact my wife leaned over and said 'should I be crying or feeling anything here?'...yeah. And also some of the lines seemed juvenile. I did really enjoy some of the camera angles and techniques they tried. And I can also appreciate the actors physicality pretending not to be in control of his body. The plot was also predictable up to a certain extent. Over all I think if you are semi interested in scifi films you should def give it a chance.
