Bien avant la naissance de la civilisation humaine, la Terre était le royaume du chaos. Un monde possédé par différents esprits maléfiques. Apparu alors un Dieu suprême qui sépara le monde en trois : le Makai, le Jyujinkai et le monde des humains. Néanmoins une légende prétend que le Chojin apparaitra afin de refondre les trois mondes en un seul royaume éternel. Il y a 300 ans dans le Jyujinkai, Amano fut condamné à mort.
