I don't know what's wrong with y'all -- I thought it was a GREAT comedy movie. they confusingly interspersed a bit of ketchup occasionally, so I suppose they got a kickback from Hines.
Seriously, I laughed about three times as much as I was scared. The fridge scene with the head falling out, rolling across the floor, then spreading legs and running around. That was great! And the bathroom scene - well, TMI, but I've got constipation so that's a common occurrence for me. And if the "wise native Indians" had it all working right, why didn't they just take care of it?
I'd hate to be ITs dentist though. "Sorry, but that one's going to have to come out. Hey, watch it!! It's not my fault you didn't floss."

I hated the first part and thought the 1990 miniseries was better. I mean, at least the miniseries tried to adapt the novel, but beyond the opening scene, the first film had nothing to do with the novel.
