Anyone know why New Line/WB waited? This should've been a 2 parter since the get go!

The movie was trending to be a hit...and with the popularity of Stranger Things and horror making a come back, it was bound to be a hit! It SURPASSED expectations and was a HUGE hit for an R rated movie!
Hope the iron is still hot when the 2nd chapter finally hits theaters.

I'm not too worried. Sometimes rushing things doesn't turn out well. I anticipate that this will go very well, especially with the popularity of the first! I know I'll be seeing it!

Well Solo was supposed to be a hit, look how that turned. The truth nothing is certain. Im sure they just wanted to play it safe. As for chapter 2, very excited, as Im sure many people are. But the only let down is Jessica Chastain...hate her. But at least they cast McAvoy, who Ive been a fan of for awhile now.
