Discuss Hot Flashes

The closing credits to this film are actually the closing credits for a film entitled BABYLON NIGHTS and do not necessarily reflect the cast and crew of HOT FLASHES. In particular, the character names listed in the closing credits are actually for BABYLON NIGHTS.

Why was this the case?

That's an excellent question. It could come down to pure sloppiness on the part of the editor or the company that did the titles. Incorrect credits seem to be an issue with the films of both Leonard Kirtman and Carlos Tobalina, which makes building cast lists for them challenging.

Was HF one of those movies that was little more than a compilation and re-edit of a couple of prior movies. Lots of this went on in the realm of low budget flicks during The 70s and 80s

It's not, BUT it does feature either outtakes from other Kirtman films or exclusive footage shot during the making of other Kirtman films. I have not seen them, but one of the films is HEAD WAITRESS. There's also footage related to one or possibly two airplane-themed movies. Ironically, none of these are BABYLON NIGHTS (which I have also not seen as of yet), but it seems logical they were both produced by Kirtman's production company at the time.
